Dear Feathered Puppies,
I
came into your store in January with bird dietary issues. I had gotten a
4 year old Umbrella Cockatoo who had skimpy feathers and was in over
all questionable health. His keel bone was exposed and he had a serious
blood feather issue which he plucked. He ate no fresh fruit or vegies.
You suggested your Feather Aide blend for him as well as a low carb
diet. Within 2 weeks I could tell he was starting to develop new
feathers and his plucking had greatly diminished. His overall appearance
was improving. We started giving him fresh vegies which he balked at at
first but now eats with the green supplement on them. We finished the
jug and went back for more Feather Aide and said I would write a
testimonial about my experience. My husband really wanted me to feed him
the second jug to see if there was more improvement and then take him
to our vet for a check up. I did and we went to the vet yesterday.
He
has continued to improve. His keel bone is now covered with beautiful
new feathers, he is the perfect weight 617 grams, he was chunky. He has
greatly reduced his screaming and his overall happiness is obvious to
all who meet him him. His yeast is gone and his blood feather issues
have left. He has a heavy amount of powder in his feathers and got a
great report. He still won't eat vegies as well as I would like him to
but my vet said after reading through the ingredients of Feather Aide,
that the vegie issue was ok because Feather Aide was such a nice blend.
Thank you for your research of such a wonderful product and all the best
to you in your endeavors. I look forward to doing much more business
with you in the future.
Sincerely,
M. Slattery
