Q: Is there ever too much use of Feather+Gro? (A Feather-Aid product)
A: We have yet to see a need for a limit. However everything should be used in moderation.

Q: Is Feather+Gro healthy?
A: Yes. This product contains a variety of dehydrated vegetable and fruit powders that give extra nutrition that not every meal can offer.

Q: Will Feather+Gro be effective if I follow part of the directions?
A: Directions should always be followed and are there for a reason.  Not following recommendations may cause product failure.

Q: How long will my bird need to be on Feather+Gro?
A: Most see results within 6 weeks, although it is safe to feed long term.  It is recommended in the case of allergies to avoid man-made vitamin supplements and high carbohydrate diets indefinitely.

Q: Why can't I just use a commercial vitamin supplement or pellet only diet instead of vegetable powder?
A: We are concerned with vitamin supplements and pelleted only diets.  There is always a risk of vitamin build ups and organ damage caused by excess supplementation.  We feel the vitamin powders provide the much-need supplementation while reducing the risk of vitamin toxicity.  We never recommend "only" diets they are dangerous no matter what the brand name.

Q: Do you recommend pellet only diets?
A: Never do we recommend only diets of any kind.  Many pellet manufacturers claim their product is complete and will increase the lifespan of your bird.  This claim can not be made due to the fact that pellets have only been popular for the past 15 years.  We believe forcing any bird to eat a pelleted only diet is not only dangerous but is also cruel.  (No human could stand the boredom of an only diet, so how can you expect your bird to?)  We equate pellets to items like ENSURE in human diet while we recommend it be added to diet it should never be overall diet.
